Esta tablilla de 25 x 15 cm está realizada utilizando el boceto previamente dibujado que puedes ver a continuación; una vez trasladado el dibujo a la madera he dorado con oro decorativo la superficie del suelo, por parecerme la más adecuada para el objetivo que deseaba conseguir con mi pintura (el realce del mantón a través de sus flecos que, caídos sobre el suelo, dejan pasar la luminosidad y el brillo del oro). Después he protegido la zona con barniz zapón para evitar las desagradables oxidaciones y por último he pintado con la técnica al óleo el motivo.
This tablet of 25 x 15 cm is made using the sketch previously drawn that you can see below; once transferred the drawing to the wood I have gilded with decorative gold the surface of the floor, for being the most suitable for the purpose I wanted to achieve with my painting (the enhancement of the shawl through its fringes that, fallen on the floor, let the luminosity and the brightness of the gold pass through). Then I have protected the area with zapon varnish to avoid unpleasant oxidations and finally I have painted the figure with oil technique.
